Changes are applied by using the freehand lasso tool, magic wand or marquee. From fixing red-eye and other flaws, to adding borders, vignettes and special effects, the Edit mode groups tools together based on the kind of correction or adjustment you want to make. When itвЂ™s time to make selective adjustments, click on the Edit tab, and a range of tools for fine-tuning your image become available. Any adjustment you make can be copied and applied to another photo or a batch of them. The Detail tab is for sharpening images and reducing noise, and the Geometry tab has tools for cropping, rotating and straightening, as well as for fixing lens distortion. A histogram and exposure-warning indicator show the imageвЂ™s basic properties. The Tune tab is where you correct exposure, white balance and color.
